Kim Tarr has always been one of my local to go restaurants. It's a no-frills Cantonese Vietnamese style restaurant. They also specialize in barbecue meats, such as roast duck roast pork, and various other meats. Previously before they were cash, only which made it harder for me to come here, but it seems like now they accept credit card, which makes it very easy for me to stop by and grab a meal.one of the things that's overlooked is our noodle soups which I highly recommend. But regardless of what everything's gonna taste great at a very fair price.

Kim Tar's roast duck is the best in the area. The Hainan chicken is of very high quality. Somehow Kim Tar's taste is different among the Chinese BBQ's in the area and good/authentic. We've been coming here for 20 years, having our get together and bday celebrations here. Staff is very friendly.

This place is such an underrated Chinese restaurant in Hacienda Heights, La Puente, & City of Industry area! When we came, the lady quickly greeted & got us seated nicely. She is so welcoming to all the customers that come to eat. The ambiance was a bit old but still comfortable. The food price is also reasonable & tasty. I ordered fried rice with three combinations of BBQ including roast pork, BBQ pork, & soy sauce chicken. The pork and the chicken were all tasty & crunchy as expected & the fried rice was also tasty. This is the best thing as in other Chinese restaurants they're mostly bland. After finishing the meal, the lady gave us a dessert that we didn't know & it was delicious to end our meal today. I will definitely recommend this place for lunch & dinner because they also have a lunch menu that comes affordable! P.s. sorry no photo for today because I was too hangry to take it.
